Consumer Benefits
This is the same information – just viewed from a different perspective.
In terms of Effective Value as measured by Health Units – the more you consume, the less efficient you become at converting the Intrinsic Value of the consumed commodities into Effective Value. Each additional unit of Intrinsic Value consumed is converted less efficiently than the previous one. Eventually a point is reached where additional quantities of consumables are wasted entirely.
Intrinsic value fails to be completely transformed into effectual value under the following conditions:
1. Non-consumption: The output is discarded or wasted.
2. Degraded consumption: The output is not put to its best potential use.
3. Mal-distribution: The output is distributed to a consumer who is wholly or partly incapable of extracting its maximal effectual value.
4. Diminishing utility: The output’s effectual value decreases as quantity consumed increases.
