The Benefits of Labour

Effective Value (as measured by Health Units) does not grow on trees!

The only resource that the average consumer has with which to obtain or create Effective Value – a positive impact on the consumers physical, mental, and emotional health – is Labour.

Simple Assumption – Labour creates/obtains a constant average Intrinsic Value per Labour-Hour over the range of possible Labour-Time investments.

Better Hypothesis – the Intrinsic Value creation rate declines as the quantity of labour invested increases.  This is because as the quantity increases, the most productive/creative opportunities to employ that labour are already taken.  Further investment must be in less productive/creative opportunities.

Final Adjustment – the Effective Value that the Consumer/Labourer can realistically realize is a declining portion of the Intrinsic Value created/obtained (for all the reasons previously cited).
