Producers
In order for “Human Economics” to have any impact on the behavior of producers of commodities, “Health Units” must have an immediate, practical, operational impact on the total financial/standard costs of production. “Health Units” as an impact on Human and Environmental health must be translatable into a standard operational costs and/or financial assets.
“Health Units” as a cost of production must be translated into the standard monetary terms dealt with in Managerial Economics and Accounting.
Some notable recent successes –
- The requirement that industries clean up any environmental damage.
- The establishment of a market for “Pollution Credits”, “Sulphur Emission Permits”, and “Carbon Emission Credits”.
Conclusion:
However “Health Units” are defined, they are functioning in “Human Economics” exactly as “Total Economic Cost of Production” functions in “Standard Economics”.
